Since I was crowned “Miss Germany International 2006,” the German media have always been keen on following my projects. My journey took a magical turn when I began working as a professional mermaid and expanded my career as an underwater stunt model, capturing the attention of international media which started reporting regularly on my adventures. - I was crowned “Miss Germany International 2006” and “Queen of the World Germany 2007.”
- I worked as an international fashion model in several countries.
- In 2011, I completed my training and became a scuba diving instructor.
- In May 2012, I embraced my true self as a mermaid.
- I began working at events, children’s parties, and photo shoots.
- In August 2012, I founded Mermaid Kat Academy, the world’s first public mermaid school.
- Since then, I have taught mermaid courses in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Egypt, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, UK, China, Maldives, Tahiti, Mexico, and Australia.
- Since 2014, the main base of Mermaid Kat Academy has been in Germany.
- In January 2016, I opened a branch in Perth, Australia.
- Mermaid Kat Academy offers mermaid courses for children and adults.
- My mermaid school has already trained over 12,000 mermaid students.
- As an environmentalist, I swim with sea creatures such as rays, dolphins, whales, sharks, and saltwater crocodiles.
- I also developed my own range of highly functional mermaid tails, specially created for freediving and advanced mermaiding (available at Mermaid Kat Shop).
- About twice a year I offer international retreats for mermaids and mermen called “Mermaid Weeks“
